Works in tandem with our Aurora Wall: When the sun's activity is high, you'll also see large eruptions called solar flares and coronal mass ejections. These high-energy particles and radiations get released into space and travel throughout the solar system.
User Experience
This shared multi-user exhibit allows visitors to interact and launch solar flares from our sun.
- Multi-User: The Kinect will track up to 8 people, allowing them to all launch solar flares.

A Kinect track any user nearby allowing them to interact with this experience.

- Hand Waving: Simply lift up any arm and aim your hand around. The Kinect will see you, hold still to launch a solar flare!
